Letterkenny hosts Party in the Park this weekend
Letterkenny, Prepare for Party in the Park!! This Saturday the 26th At Leterkenny Town Park from 1 pm until 8pm! This event, now in its sixth year, is set to be the biggest and best yet! Last year’s event proved exceptionally popular with over 600 in attendance. This year’s Party in the Park promises loads of live music with over twenty local bands, African drumming, face painting and novelty games. Arena 7 is kindly sponsoring bouncy castles and a rodeo bull, while Domino’s will be supplying free pizza on the day. Admission to the event is completely free. Pop down with a few friends or bring the family along for a bit of craic!
A special addition to this year’s event will be an attempt to break the World Record for consuming the most pizza slices in a minute. Think you or someone you know has what it takes? Simply register your name on arrival in the Park and give it a go!
The cream of Donegal’s talent will be strutting their stuff on stage with 20 bands showcasing their talents this year. Top Galway indie band Disconnect 4 will be the main headliners for the event. DISCONNECT 4 have recently supported Director and are set to give us a good show.
This year’s Party in the Park is taking place on Saturday the 26th June from 1pm to 8pm in Letterkenny Town Park and everyone is more than welcome. The event is kindly supported by Arena 7, Domino’s Pizza and BEO! Transition year music project. The Party in the Park is run by the Letterkenny Youth Information Centre and Donegal Youth Service.
